Established in 2017, P Solutions is a community and external relations consulting firm dedicated to providing strategic solutions for our clients’ stakeholder engagement needs. We outline multi-layered strategies designed to Educate, Engage, Inform, and Involve leadership, key stakeholders, executive staff, and the public to garner support for your initiatives.

Public Involvement
Community Engagement

An informative, well-facilitated, and collaborative outreach and engagement process is vital to any engineering, visioning, or community-based initiative. We work with our project partners to obtain needed input, buy-in, and/or informed consent by devising strategies that educate, engage, involve, and inform a broad range of audiences for various Planning Projects, Program Management Teams, Referenda, Capital Programs, Special Projects, as well as Technology, Sustainability, and Energy Initiatives.

Development

We drive success for companies by supporting business owners using tools designed for sustainability, growth, and success. We generate new client business through our ever-evolving network, lead tracking, lead follow-up, and pursuit championing. We also design and implement marketing strategies that leverage partnerships and client assets in maximizing potential revenue opportunities.

Construction Activities
Mitigation Plans (CAMP)

We support construction outreach by outlining and implementing plans to reduce community impacts associated with construction activities. Our plans improve communications with the public during construction, enhance overall project awareness, maintain community confidence, and minimize construction-related impacts for the community at large. Construction elements addressed in our CAMPs include:

Meet The Founder

MaLika Hakeem has substantial experience in business development, communications, and external relations. She has leveraged her experience to successfully build consensus and obtain buy-in for several high-profile projects in the Atlanta area working with elected officials and constituents on notable projects such as the Atlanta BeltLine, the Atlanta Streetcar, Mercedes Benz Stadium and the Regional Transportation Investment Act of 2012. MaLika has also managed the development and implementation of communications and outreach for the City of East Point’s $60 million Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Program (CIP), served as Outreach Manager for DeKalb County’s $1.345 billion water and sewer infrastructure program, and Director of External Relations leading outreach activities for MARTA’s $2.4 billion transit expansion program.

MaLika is well versed in external relations activities associated with construction, land use, transit and water and sewer projects and is considered an executive leader who can lead change and build consensus by collaborating with organizations and community members promoting objectives with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Peers and colleagues consider her a dynamic professional with valuable political and business relationships.
